FAQs

How much do services cost?

The cost of the service depends on the goals of the patient, the complexity of the case, and the willingness of the patient to commit to recommended lifestyle changes. On average, it takes 3 to 12 months working with a patient; however, significant improvement can be seen sooner. Most clients need blood work and may need additional testing.

are you a medical doctor?

No, I am a Functional Medicine Practitioner with my Doctorate in Pharmacy. I also have my Master’s Degree in Clinical Toxicology. The intention of my practice is to help patients feel their best. One way this happens is by identifying the root cause of their current disease and restoring their health through a combination of nutritional and lifestyle recommendations. These services are not meant to replace those of a medical doctor; they are meant to be used in addition.

Do you accept insurance?

All fees are self-pay. In general, most insurance companies do not cover Functional Medicine services. They prefer to cover conventional medicine that focuses on diagnosed diseases and medication, rather than wellness and prevention services.

Do you prescribe medications?

No, I do not prescribe medications. However, as a pharmacist, I can order and review blood work and help manage your prescription medications by making recommendations or suggested changes to your medical doctor. I also make suggestions to you regarding supplements, herbal products, and over-the-counter medications.
